Launched in 2014, the Chibuku Dance Competition was created to promote Uganda’s culture. This year’s competition included 110 groups, of which 11 regional winners competed at the National Theatre, where the overall champion was crowned
From November 18— 20, Uganda hosted Africa’s first-ever Birding Expo at Entebbe botanical gardens along the shores of Lake Victoria, Africa’s biggest lake. This expo attracted at least 100 bird watchers from various countries including the UK and the USA.
The annual Pearl Rhythm Festival was created in 2012 to highlight unique Ugandan music. Arthur Matsiko was there to capture the sights and sounds of the fifth edition of the festival at the National Theater in Kampala on September 29.
