The 27th edition of Carthage Film Festival ended recently in Tunis, the capital city of Tunisia. It is a film fiesta that is dedicated to Arab and African filmmakers and features seminars, lectures and the screening of more than 100 films.

From November 18— 20, Uganda hosted Africa’s first-ever Birding Expo at Entebbe botanical gardens along the shores of Lake Victoria, Africa’s biggest lake. This expo attracted at least 100 bird watchers from various countries including the UK and the USA.
