Malawian prophet, Austin Liabunya known for his controversial prophecies has predicted that Zimbabwean president Robert Mugabe, only has up until 31st December to live.

Liabunya has in the past made prophesies which failed to come to pass, and one wonders if the Zimbabwean leader should be worried about the latest prophesy.

According to reports, the controversial prophet foretold that Mugabe’s days are numbered and with just a few months until the year ends, Liabunya still sticks to his words.

Malawi24 reported that Liabunya said “Mugabe’s biological clock will not tick beyond this year ” after which Zimbabwe will be “restored” to be one of the richest countries in Africa.

The prophet also reportedly said First Lady Grace Mugabe “will never win in Zimbabwean politics”.

Critics have dismissed Liabunya’s prophecies as false, citing a prediction he made in January, telling his followers that Zambian opposition leader Hakainde Hichilema would win the presidential elections, “something which turned out to be untrue”.

Liabunya’s followers believe the prophet has a gift and they continue to cite incidences in which the prophet made accurate predictions. The prophet is reported to have accurately prophesied that former Malawian President Joyce Banda would be defeated in the 2014 elections.
