One Africa Music Fest at the Toyota Center in Houston, Texas, with an impressive Nigerian star-studded lineup
The Toyota Center arena in Houston, Texas, on October 22 had what was without doubt the largest gathering of Africans in its history, and we have One Africa Music Fest and impresario extraordinaire Paul Okoye to thank for that.
Hosted by beloved singer Banky W, the show featured a heavy Nigerian lineup with stars like P-Square, Flavour, Olamide, D’Banj, Tekno, 2Face Idibia, KCee, J. Martins, Harrysong, Seyi Shay, Skales, Zoro Swagbag, Skales, Vector tha Viper and Reekado Banks.
The other African artists on the bill were Tanzanian singer Vanessa Mdee, Angolan singer Cabo Snoop and Ghanaian singer Efya. American singer Sisqo and Houston rap legend Lil’ Keke were also on the bill.
We’re eager to see what Paul Okoye and One Africa Fest have in store next for us. Rest assured, This is Africa will be there to cover it!
