PHOTOS: African Health Now (AHN) ‘Gift of Life’ Cocktail Benefit
Last Tuesday, African Health Now honoured Kenyan artist/activist Wangechi Mutu, award-winning senior marketing executive/mentor Bozoma Saint John and podiatric surgeon and health advocate Dr. Samuel F. Quartey in a lavish evening at Sunset Terrace at Chelsea Piers in New York City. Here’s what went down
Nearly 150 guests assembled on October 20 to pay homage to the honorees in an evening of aural and culinary delights. The evening also successfully managed to raise funds for African Health Now‘s December 2015 Health fair in Mamprobi, Ghana and the African Health Now Mobile Unit.
