Love Matters Africa is a digital platform where young adults on the continent can discuss sexuality and sexual health issues. With the focus on giving blush-free information, Love Matters Africa already has an audience of 1.4 million young people in Kenya and Rwanda.
According to a press statement released by Love Matters Naija, a regional platform that serves the Nigerian audience, “we are fast growing in Nigeria at over 200 000 followers since our launch in June 2018.” Love Matters Naija seeks to “engage young people on sexual reproductive health and rights (SRHR) issues without judgement and provide safe spaces for asking questions, seeking advice, seeking SRHR services and interacting with a peer group in Nigeria who are part of our growing team of writers, bloggers, editors, SRHR counsellors and content producers.”
Love Matters Naija will be launched officially in the city of Lagos, Nigeria on 27 March 2019. The event will bring together high-profile celebrities and prominent bloggers from Nigeria, along with key partner organisations that work in the SRHR field. Nigerian musician Ice Prince and popular cartoonist Ugojese will be in attendance, and electrifying musician Banké will kick off the event.

The press release further stated, “Love Matters Naija seeks to be the go-to platform for sexual reproductive health and rights among Naija youths through innovative, fresh and engaging online media.”
With already wonderful conversations taking place on its Facebook platform, Love Matters Naija has officially landed in Nigeria.
