A US woman, Rachel Dolezal who made headlines early this year after her parents exposed her for pretending to be black has finally admitted that she was ‘biologically born white, to white parents’
Rachel Dolezal, the discredited race activist who made headlines early this year for claiming she was black has finally admitted that she was born white.
The former National Association for the Advancement of Coloured People (NAACP) leader came under fire for pretending to be black for the greater part of her life.

However, after a public outcry, Dolezal has come clean, admitting on TV that she’s in fact white.
“I was biologically born white, to white parents,” the 37-year-old told the co-hosts of Fox’s “The Real,” according to the Mirror.
Dolezal’s false identity was exposed when her estranged caucasian parents claimed that her “partially-African” heritage was a lie.
Lawrence Dolezal, her father, told reporters that Rachel has been misrepresenting herself. “She’s clearly our birth daughter, and we’re clearly Caucasian — that’s just a fact,”
“She is a very talented woman, doing work she believes in. Why can’t she do that as a Caucasian woman, which is what she is?”
When her racial identity story broke, Dolezal’s pictures circulated the internet and social media platforms, with people questioning her complexion, her blackness and even her “white privilege”.
