Olumide’s oil paintings, which have captured the hearts of many depict reality that many people could be deceived into thinking they are digital photographs.

The style of painting that Olumide has mastered is known as hyperrealism, a form of art that resembles a high-resolution photograph, focusing much on subtle details and the subjects.

The 35-year-old artist who majored in Fine Art is a graduate of Yaba College of Technology.

His artwork has been described as breath taking, awesome, alluring, engrossing, amongst other positive reviews. On social media, Olumide’s popularity has surged in recent weeks, and he now boasts 37,1 thousand followers on Instagram, the platform he’s shared some of his paintings on.
