Ugandan civil society to challenge anti-gay law

Ugandan rights activists and politicians have filed a legal challenge to overturn the anti-gay law that was recently signed in law by president Museveni.

A coalition of Civil Society on Human Rights and Constitutional Law which represents about 50 groups filed the petition in the Constitutional Court, asking the law to be annulled.
