Vamizi Island is situated in the far north of Mozambique in the Quirimbas Archipelago. It has been described by Eurotel as a thin boomerang made of coral, surrounded by long white sandy beaches. Outdoor activities include snorkelling and diving, fishing, kayaking and dhow, whales, dolphins and turtles watching, picnics and dinner on sandy beaches at sunset as well as wellness and yoga. Over 180 different species of coral and more than 300 species of reef fish have been recorded on the Island.
