Ghadames, Libya’s ‘pearl of the desert’
Ghadames is one of the oldest pre-Saharan settlement.
Ghadames is an oasis settlement found in a district called Nalut. It is located in the northwestern part of Libya. The people of Ghadames speak a Berber language called Ghadamès. The beautiful architecture is made of palm tree trunks, lime and mud.
