Abubakar Shekau, Boko Haram leader, is seen in new video posted by US-based internet newspaper Sahara Reporters taunting the Nigerian state, the Army, people of other creeds, and some western leaders.
Speaking in Hausa and Arabic, the terrorist leader says stories of him being killed in Konduga are not true.
Shekau also insists he is not crazy, as he had been described by some sections of the media. “You call me crazy, but you are mistaken because I am very intelligent. It is intelligence you are seeing,” he says.
Attempting and struggling to communicate in English, Shekau reverts to Hausa and denounces English as a language he has no interest in. Shekau also boasts of shooting down and beheading the pilot of a Nigerian Airforce plane declared missing by the Army some weeks ago
Initial analysis of the video by this writer shows indicates that it is recent and the person depicted has the mannerism and features of the Shekau that Nigerians know and generally hate.
