“I have the money you need for some of the social services but if you make a mistake and vote for the Opposition, you would be blocking the channel because they cannot approach me.”
These were the words of President Yoweri Museveni on Monday when campaigning for the candidate of his choice in a local by-election.
Speaking at a campaign rally in Buteba Sub-county, the President urged the public to vote for the ruling NRM’s candidate Mr Stephen Oundo Wanyama.
The president added that apart from the services provided by the central government, he had another instrument under the the Presidential Initiative which he can use to develop the area but which the residents would lose out if they voted for the opposition.
