The traditional Takienta tower-houses in Togo are phenomenal and they are a prideful part of their lives.
The Togo traditional houses usually have two stories, and either flat or conical thatched roofs. Koutammakou is an example of a settlement known for its architecture of mud Takienta tower-houses.
