Uploaders of the video claim it’s a Togolese ritual to remove bad luck. While we’re unable to verify the truth behind the claim, we thought we should share it with you and maybe get some answers.
Of the three men in the video, the one on whom the procedure is performed is seated. One of the men standing proceeds to sprinkle an unknown powder on his head. He then anoints him with a liquid which he reinforces by repeatedly slapping him on his bald head and rubbing him with leaves from a shrub.
