The #LoveMarket and #LoveFest
If you’re in Ghana and have an interest in love and all its diversities then the #LoveMarket and #LoveFest is the perfect stage to explore the various love themes, issues and witness the latest trends.
Adventures from the Bedrooms of African Women, the Love Mic and Drama Queens presents the #LoveFest, a celebration of love in all its diversities – self love, Queer love, radical love, with readings, and conversations on love, sex, relationships, and everything in between. Poet/writer/Feminist activist Jessica Horn hosts this event, with participating artists including Poetra Asantewa, Nana Darkoa, Nana Nyarko Boateng, Suga, and Famia Nkansah.
The #LoveFest takes place on Saturday 11th February, from 5pm-8pm at Q’ticules, 8 Volta Street, Airport Residential Area, Ghana, and is preceded by a #LoveMarket designed to be a one stop shopping and social hangout for all those who want to spend time relaxing with loved ones, sampling the delights of various food vendors at the market, as well as getting their essential Valentine’s day shopping done in a fun environment.
