Amagugu International Heritage Centre in Zimbabwe, hosted the Matobo Heritage Festival, an unforgettable music, dance and drumming experience in the Matobo Hills. Today we bring you some of the pictures taken by This is Africa during the festival.

Amagugu International Heritage Centre in Zimbabwe, situated near the city of Bulawayo, south-west of the country hosted the Matobo Heritage Festival.

The festival ran from the 31st of July to the 5th of August and what an unforgettable music, dance and drumming experience in the Matobo Hills. The line-up of events included traditional dances and games under the theme:  ‘Enhancing awareness of indigenous cultural heritage’.

We feature some of the acts and other interesting pictures.
