TIA writers longlisted for SA arts festival short fiction award
We at TIA are proud of 3 of our colleagues who have been longlisted for South Africa’s National Arts Festival’s Short Sharp Stories Awards for short fiction
The Short Sharp Stories 2015 longlist includes 31 writers whose stories were selected from 208 submissions. The longlist will then be filtered down to a shortlist for the R20,000 ($2,000) award which will be announced at South Africa’s National Arts Festival in July this year. The shortlisted stories will also be compiled into an anthology which will be launched under the theme ‘Incredible Journey’.
