Natasha Thahane is intelligent, beautiful and multi-talented. Known for her role as Enhle on the SABC1 youth drama television series Skeem Saam, Natasha has won the hearts of many across the continent as the sweet and unassuming Amogelang in Mzanzi Magic’s The Queen. The 21 year old is our #WCW today!
Natasha could have become more famous by riding on her grandfather’s Archbishop Desmond Tutu’s popularity but she is endeared for her passion and hard-work which has seen her earning recognition and followers at a young age. The most outstanding thing about her acting is her ability to own her role-this speaks volumes about the talent she possesses. The star started out on e.tv’s eKasi stories and worked her way to her big break on SABC 1’s popular drama soap Skeem Saam.
She grew up in Capetown and was a student at the University Of Witwatersrand studying accounting but dropped out to fully focus on her acting career. Despite her being one of the rising stars in South African television, she has enrolled at Boston Media House to study a media related course.
In a recent interview on Metro FM’s The Drive show, hosted by Mo Flava and Lerato Khanyago, Natasha indicated that she currently has her focus on her studies and career, not relationships. When she is not on the set of The Queen, she’s either working as an MC or working as a video girl. She recently featured on A Reece’s videos for Mgani and Sebenza ft. Amanda Black.
The talented actress is fluent in English, IsiZulu and Southern Sotho. We will be watching her as her star continues to shine.
